The present Privacy and Cookies Policy aims to explain how CAPSCAVE collects, stores, and processes your personal data and other data that may be collected for statistical analysis purposes.

CAPSCAVE is committed to ensuring the privacy and protection of Users' and Customers' personal data, following all legal and regulatory standards in force.

Data Collected


1. Customer registration or purchase
When registering or purchasing at CAPSCAVE, the following data is collected: email, name, address, zip code, city, telephone, and taxpayer identification number (NIF). The data collected through the customer's purchasing process will be processed automatically and intended for order processing, such as order shipment or invoicing.

2. Newsletter
When subscribing to CAPSCAVE Newsletter, the following data is collected: name and email.

3. Contact form
CAPSCAVE may also request personal data in contact forms, namely, name, email, and other information provided by the User.

4. Browsing on CAPSCAVE
Data related to browsing in the store is also always collected. Examples of this type of data include device and browser (navigator) information, network information, and IP address.

Why We Process Your Data


Personal data is collected and processed for the following purposes:

b) Order shipment;
c) Order processing;
d) Invoicing;
e) Problem resolution such as order cancellation, product return, or refund of product and/or service value in accordance with the law in force;

So that the customer is updated on order statuses or any news in CAPSCAVE, we may send emails and/or SMS with commercial communications regarding offers, products, or campaigns, as well as thematic content and information about registered order processing.

For marketing purposes, CAPSCAVE may consider and use certain data such as viewed products, products in the wishlist, or items left in the abandoned cart.

Marketing communications are made after and with the prior consent of the customer. In any case, CAPSCAVE seeks to ensure that the information and data collected and used are suitable for the described purposes and do not constitute an invasion of the customer's privacy.

When We Collect Data


Data is collected when there is customer registration at CAPSCAVE, subscription to the newsletter, completion of the contact form, registration of an order, or during browsing in the Store.

Your Rights As the data subject, you have the right at any time to request access, rectification, opposition, export, and/or deletion, as well as the right not to be subject to automated decisions.

The customer can exercise any of these rights with CAPSCAVE by submitting a request sent to the following address suporte@capscave.pt. The customer can also file a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD).

Data Retention


CAPSCAVE is obliged to retain information for tax and auditing purposes in accordance with applicable law.

Your data is stored and processed only for the period necessary to achieve the defined purpose or, as applicable, until you exercise your right to object, the right to be forgotten, or withdraw your consent.

The data subject can, at any time, request to access, rectify, or delete their personal data by sending an email to suporte@capscave.pt.

If the customer registers at CAPSCAVE, they can verify, edit, or delete their personal information at any time from the customer area on CAPSCAVE's website.

At the customer's request, CAPSCAVE may change certain customer data associated with registered orders.

Data Sharing


CAPSCAVE does not transfer or sell any type of personal data to another entity other than those necessary for the operation of the service. Personal data will also not be used for any other purpose without the proper consent of the data subject.

Any third party with which the customer's data may be shared is required to use it exclusively to ensure the proper functioning of its service on behalf of CAPSCAVE.
